Zambian citizens must obtain a visa before traveling to Denmark. This visa application is called a Denmark tourism visa or Denmark Type C Schengen Visa. The applicant must be present during the application for this visa at the embassy / Visa application center. Do not forget that this allows you to stay in Denmark for 90 days maximum and is valid for 90 days. Embassy recommends not purchasing the ticket until the visa is approved.

Don’t forget that this visa will grant you to stay in the entire Schengen region. 

Each person traveling with you on your travel document must submit their own visa form. 

Don’t forget to check the validity of your Zambian passport: at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date of entry to Denmark 

If you want to apply for this visa, your fingerprints will be taken. That means you have to be at the embassy to give your fingerprints.

A fee will be applied to your visa application.

Getting a visa to travel to Denmark as a Zambian citizen can be challenging. In fact, you will need 8 documents in order to apply correctly for this visa. Here is a list of documents you must present during the application.

• Visa application form 
• Passport photo: measuring 35mm x 45mm
• Valid passport: it must be valid for a least 3 months after your planned departure date. 
• Invitation letter: A signed document, written by the person you are visiting/contacting. It must explain in detail what the reason is for visiting Denmark. (This document will be provided by ZamNordic, only your signature will be needed)
• Bank statement: To demonstrate you have enough financial means for your entire stay in Denmark.
• Travel insurance: Proof of travel insurance for the destination valid for the expected duration of your stay. The minimum coverage must be 30 000€ (~33,400 US$)
• Travel proof: The round-trip flight ticket is sufficient.
• Further documentation, such as documentation of your educational background, for previous trade in the same industry, or for financial resources in your own company.

If you choose to have a business trip with ZamNordic in Denmark, we will send you an invitation letter and also to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Thus VFS Global will have access to it and you can directly apply for a short-stay visa at the Visa Application Centre (VFS) in Lusaka.

The embassy/consulate will not start processing your application before they have received the signed cover letter, your passport and other required documents and your biometrics (photo and, where applicable, fingerprints). As a Zambian citizen, you will need to submit your fingerprints.
